I, Katkat, is not a professional. I can't really give tips on how to place watermark on photos. But I can share WHAT NOT TO DO when watermarking your photos. (Oops, is that a verb, too?)
Now your photo just needs a frame border to make it look like a post card. Ugh.
"Everyone's probably going to notice that young lady under the talisay tree. So I think I'm going to place my watermark on it so they can see it."

How do I place watermark? Simple.
I just place it on some corner where it won't "damage" my photo, adjust the transparency so it won't be the first thing people sees. I'd rather it would be something that the audience would have to look for. And I don't use the whole "How to be Katkat" thing. I'm keeping it short.
"Oh no. It can be cropped out, easily."
That could be a CON, but BOO! Sucks to be a thief. Everyone will know sooner or later who the real owner is.
